May’s SEnine, issue 222, is available now.

The cover shot shows the glorious blossom in Eltham Park South.

The main story looks at the new Community Diagnostic Centre and what services it now offers.

There’s also a fond look back on Jane Webb and her column, Jane’s Jottings, and a tribute to local publican and community activist Mike Wren of The Long Pond, who died suddenly last month.

Meanwhile, John Kennett’s Historic Eltham looks at Mottingham’s Co-op over the years.

As always, there is plenty to find out about in SPY – and SEnine Out is great for ideas on what to do in and around SE9!
