September’s SEnine, issue 226, is available now, both in print form, and online, here on the website.

In case you are wondering, the cover shot was taken on Beechhill Road in Eltham – and I have been put right on the flowers, which I thought were Allium, but are in fact Agapanthus.

The main news stories look at more bad CQC reports at Eltham Palace Surgery and the blunders by Royal Borough of Greenwich when introducing their new parking charges. On a more positive note, we report the appointment of local theatre director Sarah Howard as a Disability and Access Ambassador for Arts and Culture – and she is interviewed in depth further on in the magazine.

There’s also an interview with this year’s Elthamread author, Kate Storey, and lovely report on the 60th anniversary celebrations from St Thomas More Secondary – both written by Melanie Wray.

As always, there is plenty to find out about in SPY – and SEnine Out is great for ideas on what to do in and around SE9!
